The competition is officially over and Venice had a good showing!

The team placed 11th out of 40 teams.

We took third place in the Student Forum with our presentation on Primal Move by Amanda, Angela and Walker. (Assisted by Gabby and Annie.)

Tommy took 10th place out of all the varsity students testing and Elyssa took 24th. Two kids in the top 25 is great for VHS!

Sarah got a perfect score on her practical CPR exam.

The team took 4th place overall for G.P.A.

I am always impressed by our team’s performance at this event.  Every year we are competing against teams that have 2 – 3 years of sports medicine courses at their schools and we are predominantly an after-school program. Way to go GONDOS!

This evening we went to a bowling alley/arcade with the teams from Sherman Oaks Notre Dame and Valencia.  Everyone had a good time and the planning has begun for next year’s competition in Yakima, WA.
